…the Bible is the inspired, infallible, divinely preserved Word of God, the supreme and final authority for all faith and life.
…there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
…in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His imminent bodily return in power and glory.
…man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God, can be saved.
…salvation is a free gift of God brought to the sinner by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary death on the cross paid the penalty for mans' sin.
…the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
..that life begins at conception and that every individual is “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14) as a unique creation of God.
…in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that individual doctrinal differences which may exist, apart from the aforementioned, should not hinder the unity of Christian believers.

Welcome to my blog. I am Glenys Robyn Hicks, and I am firstly a servant of God. I was born-again 4th November 1980. I am sixty-four, and have been married to Chris for nineteen years. We have six grown children between us and fifteen grandchildren. We live in a country town in Australia and we hope to travel around this big country one day.
A sufferer of much chronic illness, I write during the day between trying to keep my house and taking nana naps. I love to encourage people and uplift the LORD. My posts are mainly for chronically ill home makers who I call Sacrificial HomeKeepers..
We sacrifice a lot to serve our family and God in spite of our pain... however, you will find all manner of topics here...
My prayer is that we can keep our heads up, keep the faith and keep oil in our lamps as our King is coming soon!
May you be encouraged, refreshed and blessed here, Glenys
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:15-17
